The Apache Parquet team is pleased to announce the release of Apache
Parquet MR 1.8.0.
Parquet MR is a set of Java libraries for working with the Parquet
column-oriented file format for Apache Hadoop. This release includes two
notable bug fixes:
* PARQUET-251: Fixed min/max in binary column stats corruption
* PARQUET-246: Fixed delta byte array data (2.0 encoding) corruption
