The Apache log4cxx team is pleased to announce the log4cxx 1.2.0 release! Apache log4cxx is a C++ framework for logging, modeled after Apache Log4j. Log4cxx is also a cross-platform logging framework, with support for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS. Log messages can be sent to various locations, such as a file, standard out, or syslog, to name a few.
The artifacts may be downloaded from https://logging.apache.org/log4cxx/latest_stable/download.html This release is a mostly maintenance release to fix a few issues. A quick changelog is below: * Fix several build issues * Added new hexdump utility for debugging raw memory * Made the library more resilient to crashing upon shutdown * QStrings may now be logged directly if using with Qt * The namespace of functions can now be changed from 'log4cxx' to any value that you wish Apache Log4cxx requires a minimum of C++11 to build and run.
