Hello everyone!

The Apache Gravitino v1.1.0 has been released recently.

Apache Gravitino is a high-performance, geo-distributed, and federated
metadata lake. It manages metadata directly in different sources, types,
and regions and provides users with unified metadata access for data and AI
assets.

In release 1.1.0, Apache Gravitino has introduced and is not limited
to the following features:

- Broader catalog support (initial Lance REST service, a reusable
lakehouse-generic catalog, and Hive3) to simplify integration with
diverse lakehouse deployments.
- Stronger metadata-level authorization and security hardening for the
Iceberg REST surface.
- Multi-cluster fileset support and Python client improvements for
real-world multi-region and migration workflows.
- Stability, performance, and observability work across the
entity-store, caches, scan planning, connectors, and CI — reducing
operational friction and test flakiness.
