Over the June 21-23 weekend there will be a game jam going on at skullspace.
For people who don't know what this is, this is an event where people get together, and spend the weekend making games. These events are always a ton of fun. If you dont know anything about programming, or art, or anything but have a desire to learn, come check it out. As for what to bring, really you dont need much. Just bring whatever you need to work, usually this is a laptop (I guess you could bring a desktop if you really need to, but email ahead and make sure we dont have too many). People who work with art also usually bring things like tablets, special mice, and that kind of stuff. Odds are if you need something special, you already know what it is. One big thing Id like to stress, install what ever kind of software you need before you get there. The skullspace network has been greatly improved, but you never know when something might happen. So any drivers, IDEs, programs, or frameworks you need, please bring them with you. No admission costs or anything Starts around 6p on friday, and ends whenever people leave. Please go home and sleep though, we have 3 days, there is no reason to try to stay awake all of them.
