Understanding ISO/IEC 20000, ITIL and other frameworks

Description of event:

Understanding the various methods, practices and standards available for IT
today can be daunting. It takes time, education and reading and assimilating
these for IT Management to make appropriate decisions for their department or
organization.
Several ISO standards now exist for IT. ISO/IEC 20000 in particular is very
important as it covers IT Service Management. It also answers many questions
people ask about how to move towards service management and implement ITIL
practices, an undertaking many struggle to achieve. In fact, ISO/IEC 20000
provides many of the most crucial things needed for IT service management.
This presentation will provide information about the various guidance available
and in particular, how to use ISO/IEC 20000 with ITIL.
