It takes time, education and reading and assimilating these for IT Management to make appropriate decisions for their department or organization. Several ISO standards now exist for IT. ISO/IEC 20000 in particular is very important as it covers IT Service Management. It also answers many questions people ask about how to move towards service management and implement ITIL practices, an undertaking many struggle to achieve. In fact, ISO/IEC 20000 provides many of the most crucial things needed for IT service management. This presentation will provide information about the various guidance available and in particular, how to use ISO/IEC 20000 with ITIL.
