The State Central Committee of the LPVA will hold a quarterly meeting State
Committee Meeting on SUNDAY, April 21, in Waynesboro. The meeting will begin at
1:00 p.m. Exact location will be announced as soon as confirmed.

3. Corrupt Environmental Groups Lying In Bed With Corrupt Government Officials

I'm sure some of you would yawn and say "so what else is new?" at the above
headline... But anyway:
This is something I had not heard about. It figures that Christopher C. Horner
is on top of it. Chris is a Virginian and has spoken at a few local affiliate
meetings. He always impresses with his command of facts. I am amazed at his
intellect.

"'Sue and Settle' practices, sometimes referred to as friendly lawsuits, are
cozy deals through which far-left radical environmental groups file lawsuits
against federal agencies wherein court-ordered consent decrees are issued
based upon a prearranged settlement agreement they collaboratively craft
together in advance behind closed doors. Then, rather than allowing the entire
process to play out, the agency being sued settles the lawsuit by agreeing to
move forward with the requested action they and the litigants both want."
