Dear Libertarian Colleagues,
Would you like to help the Libertarian Party of Virginia become a much more
effective force for liberty?
One of the things that helps us get stronger in a steady and consistent way is
to raise enough in small monthly pledges that the result is a steady income
stream that allows us to plan our activities and invest in candidates.
However, right now, we only have a half-dozen monthly donations coming in.
With almost 700 members, we really should have at least a couple of hundred
monthly donations. Two hundred people donating $10 per month each translates
to $2,000 per month that the Party could use to develop political muscle.
Do you enjoy talking to your fellow Libertarians? Do you agree that the
libertarian message is one that the public needs to hear? Then volunteer for
our Monthly Pledge Development Committee.
Here is what the job entails:
1) Make five calls a week (two to five hours per month) to current LPVA
members and invite them to support their party with a monthly pledge.
2) For those who agree to join the monthly pledge program, take their pledge
information directly over the phone and enter it right away on the LPVA
contribution website.
3) Periodically (once a month) generate a report of new pledges to the state
committee.
