The meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 19th, 2:30 p.m. See you there!! If you are interested in becoming more actively involved in the Libertarian Party, volunteer to serve in one of the officer positions in the 1st district (Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, etc). But whether or not you become an officer there is always plenty of opportunities to volunteer to help the LP in your District! District Committee conventions normally handle the following business items: ---------------------------------- - Introductions & sign-in on attendance roster - Credentials (There will be someone checking credentials -- make it easy on them and perhaps bring your Voter Registration card for verifying district status, and the most recent copy of your LP News or some other proof of LP membership) - Approve an agenda - Election of District officers (chair, others?) - Endorsing (or not) a Libertarian candidate for 1st District US House (election decided in November 2014) - Discussion of District activities (such as membership-building activities, publicity work, etc) - Other business? ---------------------------------- See YOU there!
