Dear LPVA Members & Friends:
Please come to Richmond on Monday, January 19 to lobby the General Assembly on
bills to advance liberty.
Although I plan to focus on lobbying for HB1463 (to reduce the vote percentage
for statewide elections to remain on the ballot from 10% to 4% in either of the
past two statewide elections) and SB766 (to reduce the number of petition
signatures for all statewide races other than President from 10,000 valid
signatures to 5,000 valid signatures; it is already 5,000 for President), you
can lobby for any legislation you want.
Juanita Billings and Charlie Frohman of Our America Initiative will have a
handout with other Libertarian legislation to lobby for.
We will meet at about 9:15AM on Monday on the south side of the General
Assembly building, which is on the southeast corner of 9th & Broad Streets.

free to just show up. I will be reachable all day Monday on my cell phone at
703-864-2132.
We used Lobby Day to reduce ballot access barriers two years ago, and we can do
it again!
C'mon down to Richmond. It will be an interesting day that you will not
forget, you will probably have some fun, and we might actually succeed at
furthering the cause of liberty for all Virginians!
