If we don't show up in an election, Virginians are stuck with the same old party candidates that have ballooned our budget, overcrowded our prisons, and overtaxed our population - and Virginians are worse off for it.We need to show up in the 2017 election for Governor of Virginia.Virginia is one of only two Governor's races in the nation this year. All eyes are on us. We need a candidate.Only three individuals have ever run for statewide office in Virginia (other than President/Vice President): Bill Redpath, Gary Reams, and Robert Sarvis. It is time for someone else to show up.Candidates for Governor of Virginia must be over 30 and must have lived continuously in Virginia since at least November 2012.If you meet these criteria and are willing to run for Governor, please reply to this e-mail.We have resources. We have secured a loan to pay for ballot access. There is an active PAC ready to support a campaign. We have a policy team to help you analyze the budget.
