The OTRS Team is pleased to announce the first release of OTRS 2.0.1 for win32 systems.
We got a lot of user requests for a new win32 version the last time, so we developed a new win32 installer (first version) for the brand new OTRS 2.0. Please note that our win32 version has not yet undergone thorough testing for production awareness. It is built for Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003. The installer is coming with, OTRS 2.0.1, Apache 2.0.54, MySQL 4.0.24, CRONw 2.0 RC1, Perl 5.8.6 and mod_perl 2.0.1. MySQL, Perl and Cron. If you have Skype installed, please deactivate it prior to installation because Skype blocks port 80. Please don't use blanks in paths as some components may can't handle it. Important for upgrading: ======================== For those folks who are using OTRS 1.2.4 or 1.3.2 and want to upgrade to 2.0 please read the FAQ article (https://portal.otrs.de/otrs/public.pl?Action=PublicFAQ&FAQID=31).
