The official SIRIOS.org homepage is online now! -------------------------------------------------- a long time ago we started with the German governmental CERT (CERT-Bund) an OTRS based sub project, called SIRIOS for CERTS. What is a CERT?: --------------- http://www.infosec.gov.hk/english/general/glossary.htm#CERT Informations concerning the project: --------------------------------------- The SIRIOS project was founded in 2003 by CERT-Bund, the German governmental CERT which is a part of Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI). As a sub project of OTRS.org SIRIOS meets the specific needs of CERTs and security teams. Therefor the application framework provides several modules with a main focus on incident management and vulnerability handling. The core system of SIRIOS is based on OTRS, the leading open-source trouble ticket system. OTRS is a modular application framework which supports all kinds of service delivery and communication processes towards external and internal customers. As from now there is an alternative for all those of you who are located in the south of germany – the professional training center of netlogix GmbH in Nuremburg.
