The bottom line: There's great stuff happening at ACFUG--don't miss it!

  i3SiteTools Spotlight
- presented by Eric Jones

i3SiteTools is a CFML-based site management system built by Buckhead-based web development firm, Digital Positions Inc. The application has been a closed source and non-retail product for the past 5 years during which time it has been through four major versions and is now testing the open source waters. Eric will be presenting the tool to us both to open it for contributions from those who may be interested in getting involved, and to gather feedback from others on how they feel about it. Unlike many Site Management and CMS systems, i3SiteTools was written by developers for developers, always striving to "trim the fat" in the time it takes to build a web site with content management tools. This developer-focused foundation coupled with a sophisticated set of user-friendly tools has been successfully deployed to over 100 companies and is constantly being enhanced with every new install. Some of the key features i3SiteTools boasts are: * Easy data management and form creation tools * Simple templating system * "Live Edit" WYSIWYG for managing content contextually in the site * Content versioning and workflow * Search Engine Friendly URLs, meta data management * Site Planning and Prototyping system * Built in error handling * Easy customization * High extensibility

Step through your CFML code with FusionDebug
- presented by Charlie Arehart

In this talk, veteran CFML developer Charlie Arehart will introduce and demonstrate the ability all ColdFusion developers now have to step through their code interactively. FusionDebug is a commercial plug-in for Eclipse (www.fusiondebug.com) that gives you that ability. No, it's not free, but it's a small price to pay (under $300) if you want to do step debugging. Charlie will show all the features, as well as some tricks and traps. Don't worry if you don't care for Eclipse. You don't need to use it for editing. You can continue to use DWMX or CF Studio/HomeSite+. Just use FD for your debugging. You'll love it. Charlie will show you how easy it is and the problems it can solve. He hopes also to arrange a free copy to give away (there is a free trial).
