September 2006 recap: We had a great meeting with two talks: Eric Jones speaking on his company's i3SiteTools CMS (and opening it for contribution from others as they consider releasing it as open source), and Charlie Arehart speaking on the FusionDebug CFML step debugger.. As always, the month proceeded with several <cf_Lunch> events. If you missed these events, look for more this month!

October 2006 ACFUG Meeting: Our October 2006 ACFUG meeting is a special one, with renowned CFML developer and community contributer Ray Camden. He'll be speaking on a variety of topics. As always, we'll have free pizza and non-alcoholic drinks and a number of great prizes to give away. Our October 2006 ACFUG meeting is a special one, with renowned CFML developer and community contributer Ray Camden. He'll be speaking on a variety of topics.

Raymond Camden is the Vice President of Technology for roundpeg, a web development company. He has been a developer for most of his life specializing in the development of ColdFusion. In the ColdFusion community, Ray is known for his speaking engagements, blog posts and his writing. Events like CFUnited and Adobe MAX, have been arenas for Ray to speak and assist others in understanding a myriad of topics relating to technologies involving and surrounding ColdFusion. He is also known for his writing work through his blog, the Developer section of Adobe.com, ColdFusion Developers Journal and the new Fusion Quarterly. Ray has contributed to several publications to include the ColdFusion Web Application Construction Kit with Ben Forta, Mastering ColdFusion by Sybex and the lead author for the ColdFusion Developers Handbook. He is 33 year old, married, father of three living in Lafayette, Louisiana. In his free time, Ray enjoys Alternative music, movies, video games and TV shows like Lost,Deadwood,Battlestar Galatica and Dr. Who.
