Folks, as a follow-up on the holiday party on Wednesday night, please use
the normal RSVP form on the site to let us know that you're coming, as with
any meeting. The link was also offered in John's and I repeat it here for
your convenience:

 <http://www.acfug.org/index.cfm?fa=rsvp.rsvpaction&EventID=182> RSVP for
this meeting!

Note also that you are free (and indeed encouraged) to bring guests such as
a spouse or significant other. As with all meetings, you're particularly
encouraged to invite any CFML developers you know. :-) Kids in their teens
would be welcome also but please think twice about bringing younger
children. Josh says that while we've played WhirlyBall numerous times and
know it's a great game, this is our first visit to this particular facility
and so we're not sure what there is for kids to do during an adult party
like this one.

Finally, if you are bringing guests, you may notice that the RSVP form is
not designed to permit indicating such, so please email us (
<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED]) to inform us of your
planned number of guests. Again, DO NOT email us to RSVP for yourself. Use
the form for that. Only email us to say if you'll be bringing guests, and
how many. Thanks. It will just help us to know how many to expect and how to
organize the teams, etc.

And don't forget that you should eat before coming to the party. We've
decided it's just too complicated to try to arrange for food, not knowing
the facility, how many will show up, the later-than-normal start time, etc.
See you then!

/Charlie
