Version 1.1 of the Velocity Template Engine is now available.

community.
Major enhancements in v1.1 include :
- The new event-handling facility, allowing applications and servlets
finer control of the rendering process.
- Internationalization enhancements through full support of template
character encoding.
- Optimizations for improved performance.
