[Announcement] Commons Math 1.0-RC1 released

The Commons Math team is pleased to announce the release of Commons Math 
1.0-RC1. Commons Math is a library of lightweight, self-contained 
mathematics and statistics components. This is the first release of 
Commons Math. The release candidate is being made available so that users 
can test the release and provide feedback.

Assuming there are no problems reported with the release candidate, the 
formal 1.0 release distribution will be made available on the Apache 
distribution mirrors in two weeks. We encourage users to wait for the 
final 1.0 release before putting the code into production.

The release candidate source and binary distributions are available for 
download here:
