HELP US FUND OUR LEGISLATIVE
EFFORT IN WASHINGTON D.C. WISPA
has arranged for 24 members of WISPA to attend an Advocacy Day
May 16-17 where members will be trained in Lobbying 101,
having face to face time with the Chief of the FCC OET and
meeting other important D.C. area advocates. After the
training of 5-1/2 hours groups of four at a time will travel
to their respective representatives in Congress to pitch the
WISPA mission of less regulations, favorable access to
spectrum, and promoting work on issues of Cyber security,
USF/CAF access and other hot button issues. I
have no doubt that we will make a tremendous impact by
educating our members of Congress as to who we are and how
resolute we are to achieving our goals. In addition the
training will give WISPA a ready trained group of 25 who can
help the board and membership in future legislative efforts.
It’s our first ever legislative trip and we’re excited to have
come this far. Many members of WISPA have
come up to me at our shows and offered to donate because
they cannot come to our event in D.C. but greatly support
the efforts we are undertaking on your behalf to make it
easier and more profitable with a future of a safe business
model. Well here’s your chance! We have set up a Paypal donation button for you to
donate what you can to off-set the close to $15,000 expense
of this trip (WISPA is funding entire hotel costs for 10
attendees plus meals, conference rooms, and event
coordinator) for those who could not otherwise afford to
make this trip to such an expensive city. Your voice is
that important to us! Since announcing this fundraising last
week, we have collected $4125 which is a great start to
helping to fund this ambitious effort by WISPA to have
Congress on our side. If
you would please take the time to donate whatever you can

helping our industry public or private just tell us and each
donation assures WISPA will have that much more to continue
