COMPANY PROFILE Swift Fox Systems is an integrated, cloud-based platform that simplifies and automates all aspects of management for Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs). Our software makes it effortless to bill subscribers, answer and record helpdesk calls, and monitor live networks with historical performance - increasing efficiencies and lowering costs while enhancing subscriber satisfaction and loyalty. There's a lot of other things Swift Fox does too, like GPS tracking of your vehicles, built-in scheduling, frequency planners, subnet planners, inventory management, VoIP service management - everything you need to run a WISP all in one place! Thanks to our software, we profitably ran our own WISP building it up to 2600 subscribers and 20 employees before selling it at a premium in 2013. We are now helping our ISP partners replicate this success. We've built the only platform that integrates every area of a WISP's operations, working with all types of equipment so that a WISP can be up and running in no time. And, unlike many other service providers, we charge no set-up fees. Our certified network engineers are ready to get you started. Swift Fox Systems, recently joined WISPA <http://www.wispa.org/> as a Vendor Member and will be exhibiting at WISPAmerica 2014 <http://www.wispamerica.net/> . MANAGEMENT Matt Beaton, President Matt is the President and Co-Founder of Swift Fox Systems, a cloud-based WISP management software and services company which he and partner, Scott Armstrong launched in 2013. An entrepreneur since youth at the tender age of eleven, Matt took the $50 that his grandmother gave him to register his first business, "Technohelp", which he operated as an IT consultancy for six years. Using a direct mail campaign to gain clientele and his bicycle to go on calls, he assisted many Calgary businesses in fulfilling their IT needs. In his next endeavor, Matt earned inventor status as a summer intern at IBM where he was hired to copy daily phone support statistics from a legacy terminal system into a spreadsheet. Within the first week, he had written and deployed an automated software script that finished the job in 5 minutes, which used to require 4 hours of work. He repeated this success numerous times while at IBM, eventually automating himself right out of a position. In June 2003 at 18 years of age, Matt started Community Networks Inc. the providers of eFirehose High Speed Internet, where he and co-founder, Scott Armstrong built a successful WISP business servicing rural areas near Calgary, Alberta. Community Networks had approximately 2600 subscribers, a dozen full time staff, and generated $2 million a year in revenues. The company was sold in 2013 for $2.5 million. Matt's entrepreneurial drive to enhance process and efficiencies has resulted in the creation of a powerful software platform, now known as Swift Fox Systems. He gains much satisfaction by giving WISP owners the tools to succeed and helping them to grow beyond what they could imagine. Scott Armstrong, CEO Scott Armstrong has been CEO and Co-Founder of Swift Fox Systems, an integrated cloud-based software system since the company's launch in March of 2013. Scott's career in technology began as a Project Engineer for two of the largest commercial wireless ISPs in Canada, where he was responsible for building and maintaining their networks throughout Southern Alberta. Having started in wireless in 1999, he deployed the first 802.11b outdoor, and later, 5ghz UNII products in Western Canada. Armed with extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of ISP operations, Scott's entrepreneurial instincts emerged when he saw an opportunity to service rural areas of Alberta that were without high speed Internet service. He and co-founder Matt Beaton's paths crossed and a partnership formed. Scott was President and co-founder of Community Networks, the providers of the eFirehose High Speed Internet, which the two started from scratch in 2003. The company grew to 2600 subscribers, about a dozen full time staff and over $2 million per year in revenue. Community Networks held significant market share covering rural areas near Calgary, Alberta when they sold the business in 2013 for approximately $2.5 million. Scott is now focusing his efforts on building Swift Fox Systems to a similar level in order to support WISPs in North America that will benefit by automating their management systems, increasing control over their networks' performance and increasing subscriber satisfaction. <http://www.wispa.org/where-there-is-a-wisp-there-is-a-way> Where there is a Wisp, there is a way!
