WISP TRACON <http://www.wisptracon.com/> is a newly formed California company whose focus is on providing solutions based training and consulting for WISPs in the USA and Europe. The founders are Brian Horn the owner of Winters Broadband in California and Andis Arins the owner of router.lv in Riga, Latvia. Both founders are MikroTik Certified Trainers (all certification courses) and MikroTik Certified Consultants. We have extensive experience in supporting WISPs at all stages of their growth from planning to design, implementation, operation, management, support and expansion. Our solutions based training and consulting is based on our experience in owning and operating successful profitable WISPs for over 12 years. With offices in both the USA and Latvia we are able to provide support services beyond normal hours. Brian Horn has over 30 years' experience in Information Technology and data networking in companies ranging from a Fortune 100 to a venture capital based high technology startup. He founded Winters Broadband in 2002 to bring high speed Internet access services to the rural California communities. Brian was a founder and Vice President with BlueArc Corporation, now a division of Hitachi . He has served in technical management and marketing positions at Lucent Technology, Madge Networks, LANNET and Andrew Corporation. Andis Arins has extensive networking experience having worked with MikroTik products for 15 years working with networking professionals providing training and Tier3 support. Andis has an in-depth knowledge in Cisco and Microsoft networking solutions and has specialized to extend them with MikroTik products. He has trained students from more than 35 countries in the MikroTik certified courses. Andis is a board member for Latvian Internet Association (according to Bloomberg Latvia has a 5th fastest internet country status in the world in 2013) and a future networking researcher for the European Commission and an OpenFlow researcher for the University of Latvia.
