This is a reminder that Ansible Core 2.2 is in feature as of 05 SEPTEMBER 2016. All Ansible Core features are frozen, and testing has begun. For modules all major features (parameter changes, etc), must be frozen as well. We will accept minor feature changes to modules if there is time for the core team to review it. This will happen on a case by case basis, so, new module requests will not necessarily make it in. We'll continue to review as we can. On 16 SEPTEMBER 2016 Ansible Core and Modules will be totally feature frozen for testing before we release our first 2.2 Release Candidate on 03 OCTOBER 2016. ONLY bug-fixes will be accepted for inclusion for 2.2 Release Candidate 1 after the 16th of September.
