Thanks! Yep, breadcrumb wasn't intentional, but I also wasn't really clear on how to fix it given there are multiple paths to documents and seems to be what the theme does for some other projects as well. If people want to try to fix it up though, that would be welcome!
Definitely want to get search fixed up though, and will be working on that!
