Host module was pulled due to non-workiness in a development version IIRC,
of which form of non-workiness, I don't particularly remember.

I think a lot of it had to do with not understanding the topology of the
host file and being rather line oriented, such as if you remove something
that is a record or an alias, what does it do with the other aliases or
records.

I'd *possibly* be open to including a working one, though I do generally
feel /etc/host files are better managed with templates most of the time.

It might take some doing.
