Why wouldn’t you use a template?
something like:
</VirutalHost>
{% for host in groups[’tomcat_servers'] %}
ProxyPassReverse {{ hostvars[host]['ansible_eth0']['ipv4']['address']
}}
{% endfor %}
</VirutalHost>
look at example from the doc
