Thanks, Matt! The docs weren't clear that only search for patterns on the
remote host. Its working now with:
- command: find /mnt/cd/ -name "*.tar.gz"
register: vmwaretools_gzip
- unarchive: copy=no dest=/opt/ src={{ vmwaretools_gzip.stdout }}
