Hey guys, I've encountered a weird problem with *yum *module. Working environment: *OS*: CentOS 6.4 *Kernel*: 2.6.32-358.e16.x86_64 *Ansible*: 2.0.0 (devel b37be236d9) running from source
I'd like to install *Erlang *in *CentOS 6.4*, to do that " *erlang-solutions-1.0-1.noarch.rpm*" must be installed first, which would add an extra repo entry (named *erlang_solutions.repo*), through that repo, we can install *Erlang*. So, here is what I'm doing in my playbook: ``` - *name*: install erlang-solutions *yum*: *name*= http://packages.erlang-solutions.com/erlang-solutions-1.0-1.noarch.rpm *state*=present ``` this task will be executed without any error, and the " *erlang-solutions-1.0-1.noarch.rpm*" will be installed on the destination host. running `*yum list installed | grep erlang*`, and the result is: ``` erlang-solutions.noarch 1.0-1 installed ``` BUT !!!!! There no extra repo entry added to `*/etc/yum.repos.d*`, so, I still can't install *Erlang*. Forget to say, that after install "*erlang-solutions-1.0-1.noarch.rpm*" with rpm command directly on the host, like: ``` wget http://packages.erlang-solutions.com/erlang-solutions-1.0-1.noarch.rpm rpm -Uvh erlang-solutions-1.0-1.noarch.rpm ``` an extra yum repo entry named *erlang_solutions.repo* will be added to ` */etc/yum.repos.d*`.
