a new improved Variable Management is hinted at but not much more.
Is there anything in the docs, some tutorial _what_ the exact changes are?
And how I might be able to adapt/extend that behaviour?

Currently group vars in different groups are evaluated by the alphabetical
order of the group name and I would like
to be able to explicitely define the evaluation order of the groups:
group_vars/db
|
V
group_vars/prod
