After trying to learn Ansible for the past few days the most glaring problem I have run into is documentation inconsistency.
Ansible has evolved rapidly and all the documentation says "since v1.x you can now do this and this" sort of thing. Also some newer things are not backwards compatible so that is another problem I have run into trying to adapt older (even just 1 or 2 years old) playbooks/roles How about making a document that strips all that out and just says "v1.9" documentation. "v2.0" documentation like most other things are documented. It would remove a lot of verbage for starters. Can't see anyone still running pre v1.0 so for sure any comments about that should be ripped out of everything. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ansible Project" group.
