Personally, I've been using the vcenter module (link below) for over 2 
years. I started using it simply because it always used PyVmomi and already 
had the functionality to create/delete vm snapshots.

It would be great if snapshot capability was built into the vmware_guest 
module or an additional vm_snapshot module was available.
