At the moment, AES256 is the only cipher supported. (There is limited read only support for an AES cipher used in early versions of vault, but that is only for backwards compat).
Support for more ciphers (or pluggable ciphers) might be a good roadmap request though. 2.5 roadmap planning isn't started yet, but I suspect some subset of that will likely get added to the roadmap.
