Starting to understand what you and Matt are trying to tell me, I'm now at the point where I think that what's missing is a mapping between the old with_/lookup approach and the new loop/filter approach for each kind of `with_*`. You listed a few but a consolidated list would be cool as they're not exactly obvious, at least not to me.
