Hi there, I sent the message below to the tomcat-user list but had no answer. I am not sure it is appropriate to post it here but you are the experts. I downloaded ant, read the manual,read all tomcat-user list related messages and still can't get ant to build the first directory tree.

Classpaths and ant.jar are apparently fine. build.xml has a change only in the property app.name to indicate the name of my application. I sure did something wrong with directories but i can't figure what. Any hint?
