Just a note: If I interrupt ant during a compile, I get jikes-<longnum> files left around. (And sometimes, jikes processes lying around as well.) I seem to remember someone (Pete?) saying java doesn't handle interrupts -- can that be right? If it actually can handle them, then <javac> should clean up these files (along with the jikes process).
