One double espresso later .... What I meant to say was.... Would it be a good idea to change the default CVS excludes pattern from "**/CVS/*" to "**/CVS/**" ? I have to put this into all my directory-based tasks to stop it including CVS files from CVS/Base.
If people are relying on the existing pattern would it be possible to make it a project property called something like "ant.excludes.default" so I need only override it in one place? If any wiser souls than I know of any dangers in the **/CVS/** pattern then I'd appreciate their warnings.
