I just had an e-mail exchange with Jack, it seems that there is a bug in weblogic's jspc which makes it difficult to handle jsp include tags, etc. I have just been spending a couple of hours working with it, and ran into the bug immediately.
I am trying to explore how deep the problem is, but at this point, it may not be a straightforward matter of getting it into shape for general use. I am going to spend a little more time with it, but for now, probably need to have this resolved first....
