If you use the Java Development Environment (JDE - jde.sunsite.dk) for (X)Emacs, then there exists a JDE-ant.el, which will allow you to use ant for builds. For your convenience, I've attached the file. I don't know if it's 'officially' supported by either ant-dev or by the folks at JDE, though.
