Where "maintenance effort" is defined to be your effort, as opposed to those of the ant commiters. If you take a task that I sent to ant-dev a couple of weeks ago, a couple of antcall, and some appropriate naming of properties, I think I can make Roger's buildfile cleaner, without needing task level if/unless. I'll try and get it working this evening.
