Ant doesn't change the working directory - all it does is resolving relative ! filenames that have been specified in the build file as files relative to your ! project's basedir (which may be different from your current working directory and ! the directory your build file resides in). ! ! If you want to use the automatic expansion of filenames in tasks of your own, ! make your attribute setter methods expect a File object instead of a String.
