WAS 3.5 has an ibmant.jar in their websphere/appserver/lib directory. Don't
get your hopes up that it can be used to do application builds for WAS 3.5. It
turns out that IBM is using ANT within their Admin Console (I think) to do
certain tasks. I have been successful in calling the jetace and wlmjar tools
with the exec command of Ant. I have not tried to create new taskdefs for
cleaner integration.

I hope this helps.

Which FAQ?

I've searched the IBM software site for "Ant" and couldn't come up
with a hint. I'm not aware of any Ant Version apart from the ones
that we distribute from Jakarta.
