setText on Property.....

is there a reason there is not a "setText" method on property so you can 
specify
something like the following:

<property name="myProperty">
 <![CDATA[
   Some multiline
   text string
 ]]>
</property>
Otherwise, i'm not sure there's a good way to build a property
that has a multi-line text string as it's value.
