3836, IMHO is actually a bug - a harcoded port, I consider, is equivalent to a hardcoded host ;-)
3024 may be addressed later as I agree it is an enhancement. wrt 1550 - please checkout http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/docs/api/java/io/File.html Sun has started advertising getCanonicalPath as a way to distinguish between symlinks and actual files/dirs. Moreover, as I have commented in bugzilla, I have taken care of Winows and Mac anyway. I think this fix is a good workaround (biased as I am), though it hasn't been made popular yet - hope Ant does that ;-) Anyway, please give it a try and let me know what you think. One day, I would love to see that bug list zapped :-) Thanks, Magesh On Wed, 26 Sep 2001 Conor MacNeill wrote : > Magesh Umasankar wrote: > > > Conor: > > I have submitted patches for the follwing bugs. > > > > 368 - Case Sensitive Filenames Issue (Conor) > > 3568 - Target File checked to see if it already > represents an absolute path (Stefan - this requires > your attention) > > > > 2522 - Cab options tokenized > > 3024 - Distinguish between multiple files in mail > > 3552 - perforce: p4change task accepts comments with > slashes now > > 3836 - Mail ask allows port specification > > 1849 - Original Idea by Phil Hanna - ant.bat and > ANT_HOME > > 1550 - delete task not to follow symlinks > > > > > I'll look at these but some are really new > functionality (3024, 3836) > and I'd like to limit 1.4.1 to major bug fixes.
