Stefan, Can you please tell us, why is it that you need User properties to work?
If I understand your messages correctly, the issue is not only that you want mutable properties, but that you actually are using it in some code somewhere (from one of your last messages). Can you please tell us what that is? Is this a CORE task that is doing this changes? If it is, I think there is consensus building that CORE should not override values of properties.
