suppress output for input task

Summary: suppress output for input task
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.5 alpha (nightly)
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I would like the input task to be able to not echo the inputted data to stdout
when requested. If I want to gather passwords (CVS pserver for example) before
beginning a build task, it will echo my password to stdout. Using command line
options to ant isn't a clean solution, since I'd only like to suppress this
output at certain points. Here's an example:

get.password:
[input] Please enter password for jason
jason'sPassword
