ejbjar will only complain if it cannot find a class in srcdir which it needs
directly from the descriptor. In fact it will only WARN about this. 

Dependent classes which cannot be located in srcDir should not cause a problem. 

As we are discussing on list, the classpath is becoming less useful due to the
use of BCEL.
