does anybody know why MacOS < 10 is not supported by <pathconvert>? Isn't it basically the same as unix when it comes to pathsep and dirsep?
I have only vague memories of Mac development but I believe old MacOS uses ':' as a dir separator and there is no real concept of a path. I'm not sure how MrJ, under these versions, manages these concepts but I don't think it can be treated as Unix.
