Mail task doesn't allow you to set arbitrary headers

I've attached a patch for MimeMailer and PlainMailer classes which adds the 
"Date" header to the 
email.  This solves the problem of the send Date not showing up in various mail 
clients 
appropriately (Mozilla, Outlook).
