http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=8513 PropertyFile task unnecessarily escapes colons in the value section Summary: PropertyFile task unnecessarily escapes colons in the value section Product: Ant Version: 1.4.1 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows NT/2K Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Optional Tasks AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] When updating a properties file with Ant, if the value (NOT the key name) contains colons (eg c:/dir/thing/that.html), the colon gets escaped with a backslash: c\:/dir/thing/that.html. This should not happen in the value part, only the key part. Also, will the task leave comments in tact soon?! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
