I understand where you are coming from, but for me its easiest to keep it
with the 1.5 branch because I want to be sure to run against that branch at
the moment.
If you don't mind, can I keep working off that? There are are likely to
only be a few more changes there at most, and I can take care of merging the
proposal/xdocs stuff back myself if you don't want to include it in the
merge when you do release builds. I could switch if its necessary, but I'd
rather not for the time being.
