http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10398 Addition of a DNS condition to the core task Summary: Addition of a DNS condition to the core task Product: Ant Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: Other Component: Core tasks AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] With delight I noticed that there are <http> and <socket> conditions available since version 1.5 This is very useful and I am looking forward to writing whole network monitoring scripts with these new features. I would like to propose to add a <dns> condition so that it is possible to check for correct name resolutions even without connecting to the resolved socket. One could also think about further conditions or tasks that would make sense within the context of network monitoring. <ping> would be nice, <tracert> would be awesome. <snmp>, <wbem> or <jmx> tasks that could emit traps/events or get/set attributes would be groundbreaking. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
