A wild guess about what might be happening... Suppose that someone has managed to subscribe to the Ant Developers list using an e-mail address that is used to unsubscribe from another list, say "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". Alternatively, an e-mail forwarder is forwarding to this unsubscribe address.
Now, any message posted to the Ant developers list will get forwarded to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". In response, this automated list manager will send an unsubscribe confirmation back to the original poster - maybe with a totally different e-mail address as the sender (such as "I-Offers Direct <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>").
